On 10 April, when cherry blossums were falling and fresh green leaves were appearing, my father Isamu Suzuki passed away peacefully at home. He was eighty-four years old. His wife Keio and my family had a wake and a funeral, to which many friends, neighbours, relatives and former pupils of his attended, expressed their condolescence and talked about fond memories of the time spent with him. One of them, who is a flutist at Shizuoka Philharmonic Orchestra, played a piece of music Furusato (a hometown). We would like to thank everybody who thinks about him. He will be interred at a cemetry in Myosho-Temple in Kitamatsuno.
