十二宮・十二支・十干（じっかん）のまとめ

年末に楽しい読み物は南方熊楠の『十二支考』である。来年は子年であるからその章を探したら、意外なことに下巻の最後に添えられていた。もともと『太陽』の論文を集めたものであるり、子年の文章は1923年の関東大震災の年に書かれており、丑年は書かれておらず、全部で十一の支に関する文章を集めたとのこと。この本を毎年取り出しては読んでいたのですが、知りませんでした（笑）

 

その冒頭で十二支と十干の関係、十二禽との関係、そして西洋の十二宮の話などへの言及があった。本当に恥ずかしい話だが、どのアイテムもなんとなく知っているだけである。もちろん Wikipedia にいい説明もあるし、岡田『アジアの暦』にもいい説明がある。ことに一覧表がすばらしいので、まとめておいた。でも、まだまだ分からない部分のほうがずっと大きい。
